Why are people only thinking about the bad parts of prom. Like really. C’mon you spent over $200 for this event, at least live it up and don’t be such a debby downer.

Yeah I didn’t really like the Japanese Garden because every place we went had awkward shading and lighting, but I’m not talking about it every two seconds at school. I said it once maybe twice. But that was my only complaint.

Whenever people ask me how prom went, I literally say it was the best night of my life, and I would go back in a heart beat if I could.

“Oh it’s only cause you won.”

That’s so ignorant. Who cares if you didn’t get nominated or didn’t win or didn’t get to take pictures or ruined your corsage. Yeah, I said it, who cares. Don’t let that ruin your night. There was great food, great music, amazing people, dancing, and so much laughter, even people who didn’t have dates lived it up and definitely did not let being dateless stop them.

Just think of the positive sides of prom and stop thinking of all the little stupid stuff, cause none of that matters.

and to the people, who said nothing but great things, and how much they loved it. Kudos to you, you happy optimistic person. Fucking kudos you beautiful creature.

I’m just going to go an hour earlier with Emilio with our own photographer and then after we get our pictures done, we’ll meet up with our group. I mean I absolutely loved the people I was with and I literally could not have asked for a better group of people.

But it was just uncomfortable because I thought the photographer was coming for everyone, not just one person to be focused on. Or next year we’ll just have more time for pictures or something because an hour is definitely not enough time especially since we didn’t get to do the typical prom photos.

But my group was amazing and they’re fun and cool. I love them so much. I hope I’m with them again next year.

This picture although may seem random and unintentional has a very sweet story. Yesterday was my prom and two of my best friends and their boyfriends had been nominated for prom court. They both deserved it, but only one could win. The girl in the lovely blue dress, Camellia, and the boy behind her won. After they were crowned and took their pictures they gave their crown and sash to my other friend, Megan, the girl holding the crown. Camellia sat next to Megan and simply put the sash on her and handed her the crown, clearly Megan is perplexed. The amount of sweetness and thoughtfulness that went into that action is just amazing. I’m proud to call these two girls some of my best friends.

I’m so in love with this man. Thank you for everything. We’ve been talking about spending this day together for a year, and now it finally came and it couldn’t have been more perfect than what it was. You looked so handsome last night baby. Even though I looked like complete crap, you still kept telling me how beautiful I look and how much you love me. Sleeping with you at the end of the night just topped it all off.
